Workplace Assessments
Full Day DSE (Display Screen Equipment) Training
We are able to offer an Introduction to Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Training session based on your working environment. A day’s training for up to 12 personnel will ensure your trainers will be able to carry out a basic DSE assessment based on competency and their confidence to carry out an assessment.
Day Rates
Our rates are subject to the location of the assessments, the type of assessments required and the number of assessments required on that day. The benefit of an assessor being on-site all day is that they can observe the working environment and staff at their workstations and provide advice and training to provide immediate benefit. Any staff with more complex needs can be provided with a full assessment, with a report to follow, detailing our recommendations.
Face to face assessments
Our onsite assessments, are bespoke to each individual and will focus on the individual and their working environment, whether you are a homeworker or work from an office. A confidential discussion between the individual and the assessor will take place regarding any relevant medical conditions that may be affecting their ability to do their job safely and in comfort. Once the assessment is complete, we will provide immediate advice and training where appropriate, and make any minor adjustments to equipment positioning, which would have an immediate benefit. Should the employee need it, we will also recommend adaptions to the workplace via a written report. We will endeavour to answer any questions or queries that the employee may have. Face to face assessments can be conducted nationwide, including the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.
Remote Assessments
Can be conducted via phone or via an online platform, such as Zoom or Skype. The benefit of a remote assessment is that they can be offered to individuals both in the UK and internationally, to homeworkers and office workers and those that work unsocial hours. As with a face to face assessment a discussion will take place to establish the individuals’ needs and any relevant medical history. Guidance can be given remotely, if applicable so that individuals can make adjustments themselves, as part of the assessment.
